Emergency Rescue Plan active — senior engineer replies within 12 hours See the plan →
No meter. No surprises.

How the delivery works

Five steps between your first email and a fix you can verify. Every step delivers something to you: an email the moment it moves, plus a private tracker page (/status/) where you watch each step land. Same pipeline for every rescue — the only thing that changes is which ticket your symptom matches.

The rescue in three calendar days

Day 0

You send the symptom

Within 12 hours you get the diagnosis and the locked flat-rate ticket. Nothing is billed until you approve.

Day 1

Approve, pay, work begins

One invoice, one payment. The engineer starts; at hour 24 you get a mid-run check-in with progress and any scope decision.

Day 2

The handover

At hour 48 the rescue is proven done: fix verified, rescue log, docs, your keys, one locked invoice. No fix, no fee.

  1. 01
    Hour 0 · Received

    You send the symptom

One email. No diagnosis needed, no prep. Write what broke, what it costs, and when it started — or just tell us what’s happening. The order is created and a confirmation (with your private tracker link) lands in your inbox.

  2. 02
    ≤ 12 hours · Quoted

    Diagnosis + locked price

A plain-English diagnosis, the named flat-rate ticket, and the exact locked price. The tracker moves to “Quoted” and you get the email — nothing is billed yet, ever, until you approve the number.

  3. 03
    Approved

    You approve & pay

One invoice, one payment — then the 48-hour window opens and the clock starts. Your tracker moves to “Approved”; the handover card arrives with exactly what we’ll ask for (per category) and the one-time secure link channel.

  4. 04
    In work · Hours 0–48

The engineer works — up to 8 hours

Read-only investigation first, then the fix inside the agreed scope. Every ticket carries up to 8 hours of hands-on senior engineer work — including review and diagnostics, so it can deliver in less. A mid-progress check-in at hour 24 keeps you posted; anything outside scope appears as a new flat quote, only after you approve.

  5. 05
    Handover

Handover with proof — no fix, no fee

The fix verified within scope, the rescue log, the plain-English handover document, before/after proof, every key and account still under your control, and one locked USD invoice. Your tracker closes at step 5. If a rescue doesn’t land within its scope, you don’t pay the final invoice — and nothing is ever billed by the hour.

The five-standard handover

Whatever the ticket, you keep the same five things

  • 01
The fix, within scopeThe symptom you booked is resolved, tested, and verified working before I say "done".
  • 02
The rescue logWhat was broken, what I changed, what to watch — written down and yours to keep.
  • 03
Plain-English handover docReadable by the owner, not just the IT team: access, config, and the "what next" in one file.
  • 04
Every key stays yoursAccounts, credentials, and access stay under your control — nothing changes owner.
  • 05
One locked invoiceThe flat rate you approved, in USD, agreed in writing before work started.

Plain answers

Questions about the pipeline

When does payment happen?

After the ticket is named and the price locked. One invoice, one payment, then the 48-hour clock starts. No monthly fees, no auto-renew.

What if the real cause is bigger than the ticket?

You are told straight in the diagnosis, before any work outside scope. A new flat-rate quote is presented and you approve it, or the rescue stays inside the original ticket.

How do you receive access securely?

Per the category checklist on /handover/: passwords by one-time burn link, IP only when server-side work needs it, minimum access (read-only when possible), all credentials deleted or rotated when the rescue ends.

What happens at hour 48 exactly?

The handover lands: the verified fix, the rescue log, the plain-English document, before/after proof, your keys still under your control, and one locked USD invoice.

Can delivery be faster than 48 hours?

Yes — a 12-hour express at double the flat price, and you choose it before payment. Same locked-price logic, half the window: decide at approval, pay the rush price, run the 12-hour clock.
