Terms, privacy & how working together works
The answers a US business needs before booking a $2K–$5K rescue: payment, ownership, guarantees, privacy — written so a human can actually read them.
In one sentence
You pay a flat rate in USD that is locked before work starts; I fix the agreed problem within 48 hours; you walk away owning the fix, the documentation, and the access; and if it can't be fixed in scope, you don't pay.
What a rescue covers
Each rescue is a defined, written scope: the service you booked (for example, website speed or WordPress hack cleanup), the specific symptom we agreed on, and the deliverables listed on that rescue's page. Anything outside that written scope is quoted separately, at a flat rate, before any additional work — never billed without your approval.
What is not included: ongoing monthly maintenance, content writing, new features outside the agreed symptom, and work on systems we are not given access to. If the real problem turns out to live somewhere outside the rescue, you'll hear it honestly in the diagnosis.
How payment works
Invoices are issued in USD. Every ticket is a fixed price agreed in writing before work begins. There are no hourly rates, no "while we're in there" upcharges, and no surprise fees — if scope changes, you get a new flat-rate quote for your approval first.
Payment terms are stated on your quote. For most rescues that means payment in advance so the 48-hour commitment is protected; for larger engagements we can agree on staged payments tied to delivery milestones. If for any reason a rescue cannot be delivered, a full refund of any amount paid is given.
What you own when it's done
On payment, deliverables produced for your rescue within the agreed scope are yours: changed code, configuration files, the rescue log, and handover documentation. You also keep every account and credential. Nothing we build is locked behind a proprietary license or a hostage swap.
Third-party software (plugins, themes, SaaS) remains under its own license and stays in your name through your own subscriptions, exactly as before the rescue.
The “no fix, no fee” rule
Flat rate means I price the outcome, not the effort. If I take the rescue and cannot deliver the agreed outcome within scope, you don't pay. And before that can happen, you'd be told honestly during diagnosis — with the option to stop or resize the scope — because a rescue that can't be done should never trap you in a metre running.
Confidentiality & NDA
An NDA is available on request covering the code, systems, and business information you share. We hold your systems temporarily and exclusively to solve your problem; we don't reuse, copy, or share your code or data with anyone. Standard confidentiality terms apply even without a signed NDA.
Privacy policy
What we collect: your name, email, website URL, and the details you send about your symptom. Why: to diagnose, quote, and deliver your rescue, and to reply to you. What we don't do: sell data, rent lists, or track your visitors. This site sets no advertising cookies; the only analytics that exist are server log data we keep for security, not for advertising any third party.
Access data after you approve a ticket: once a flat rate is approved, we ask only for the access needed for that specific rescue — a typed list that matches the work, never a blanket collection. Passwords are received over a one-time, encrypted handover channel (never in plain email), used only to do the job, and deleted — or rotated at your request — as soon as the rescue is delivered. Where a rescue is read-only by nature (audits, due diligence), we use read-only access and scope-limited credentials so nothing can be changed by accident. Access shared with us is never reused on another client, another project, or after the engagement ends.
Access logs and systems you share are retained only as long as the rescue requires (and, for backup/restore work, per your stated retention), then deleted. You can request a copy of or deletion of your data at any time via rescue@fullstacksolutions.dev.
Cancellation, refunds & disputes
Cancellation: before work starts you can cancel with a full refund of anything paid. Once a 48-hour rescue is underway, it is delivered as quoted — and if it isn't, you don't pay. Disputes: we treat you fairly first; anything not resolved amicably is governed by the laws of the United States and, where a court is needed, the courts of the buyer's principal place of business in the US. This never takes away a right you already have.
Limitation of liability
We fix websites with professional care, using industry-standard practices, and stand behind the stated outcome. As with any engineering work, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rescue in question — we are not an insurance policy for business interruption. That is what backups, monitoring, and the 48-hour sprint are for.
